Throwback Thursday #35

Throwback Thursday is a bookish meme hosted every two weeks by me and Stephanie @Bookfever where we feature books that we've read in the past but are still crazy about. It could be a book you read as a child and still remember and love or maybe just a book that you haven't read in a long time and want to show your love for. Each week we'll be featuring a new random question to answer!

My pick this week:

Betrayed by P.C Cast & Kristin Cast

Zoey, High Priestess in training, has managed to settle in at the House of Night and come to terms with the vast powers the Vampyre Goddess Nyx has given her. Just as she finally feels she belongs, the unthinkable happens: human teenagers are being killed, and all evidence points to the House of Night. While danger stalks the humans from Zoey’s old life, she begins to realize that the very powers that make her so unique might also threaten those she loves.

Ahhh, once upon a time I really liked these books. They were really entertaining actually and lots of drama haha.

Quote:
“Remember, darkness does not always equate to evil, just as light does not always bring good.”

Question of the week:

Most intimidating book you've read?

It'll have to be Revenge of the Witch (The Last Apprentice / Wardstone Chronicles #1), I remember my friend suggesting I try it and loaning me the book to read. We came to talk about it one of our book talks where we talked about the back cover of the book and what it sometimes said and this one (on one edition at least) all it actually said were "Do not read after dark". After reading some of the first part of the book I started to listen to that and never actually read after dark because there were some really scary things in there! But it was awesome!

How about you?
Answer in the comment section! If you'd like to participate in Throwback Thursday you can add your post to the linky below. Feel free to add a favorite quote of the book you're spotlighting as well in your post. :)

Next Throwback Thursday question for October 9th:

Weird of funny book titles.
